Informational meeting for Farm Service Agency COC election

An informational meeting regarding the Farm Service Agency’s County Committee Election will be held Tuesday, July 8 at 8 a.m. at the Cowley County USDA Service Center. Learn more about the committee’s responsibilities, nomination process, and applicable deadlines for this year’s County Committee Election.
The election of agricultural producers to Farm Service Agency (FSA) county committees is important to all farmers and ranchers. Producers who serve on committees help with the decisions necessary to administer the programs their counties offer.
The Local Administrative Area (LAA) #3 holding the election this year, includes the following townships: Richland, Salem, Tisdale, Liberty, Silverdale, Omnia, Silver Creek, Sheridan, Spring Creek, Harvey, Otter, Grant and Cedar.
