Moline Grade School collecting Box Tops
By Shirley Black
Moline Grade School is collecting General Mills Boxtops for Education and Campbell’s Soup Labels for Education. The Box Tops for Education are on many different products we all use frequently. Each Box Top for Education or Campbell’s label saved and taken to the school will earn 10 cents. Box Tops labels are available on all General Mills cereal products, including Cheerios, Wheaties, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Fiber One. Most Pillsbury refrigerator products and cake mixes have the Box Tops for Education for tearing and giving to your school. Betty Crocker products and Ziploc are also great sources of the labels, along with all Cottonelle, Scott and Hefty products.
Campbell’s has recently changed their requirement to saving the UPC instead of saving the front of the label. If you use Campbell’s soups, tomato juice, Swanson’s broth, just remove the label and send then whole label to school. Thanks for helping our school and ensuring our kids get the best education possible.
To learn more about each of the programs, go to their websites: boxtops4education.com or labelsforeducation.com. Sometimes we can even get extra credit for having additional people go to the site and sign up for Moline Grade School.
Last year Moline Grade School earned several hundred dollars and purchased a digital camera from the coupons saved and sent by family and friends. We hope to earn lots more this year and purchase another bit of technology for our school, the teachers and the kids. We will be sending our coupons by the end of May. If you have questions, call the school and talk to Dianne Boles at 647-3288.
