WEHS to present music program next Tuesday
The West Elk High School Spring Concert will be presented at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20th, at the West Elk High School auditorium.
“We’re real pleased with the selections this year,” said Mrs. Shilts-Baum, music director at WEHS. “The high school vocal department has been working on some creative numbers.”
In addition to the Patriot Singers, the combined High School / Junior High bands will present about half a dozen music pieces. Also performing will be the Seventh Grade vocal students.
Dean Baum, forensics coach, said some of the students who went to State this year will display their talents for the audience. “We have some very talented students,” he added.
