During the Memorial Day weekend, visitors to the Moline Cemetery will be inspired by the beautiful Avenue of Flags that stands tall in the well manicured cemetery. Small brass plates accompany most of the flag poles, bearing names of organizations or individual family members who have paid for the flag and pole in honor or memory of a special person.
There are a few poles still available which may be purchased by anyone desiring to do so. While in Moline and visiting the cemetery, feel free to call or visit with Russell Julian (647-3357) or Wanda Mills (647-3462) about purchasing a flag and pole.
