Two area churches to host chicken noodle dinners
The Burden United Methodist Church will be serving a chicken and noodles luncheon at noon on Sunday, May 4, to benefit the church’s youth and children’s programs. Chairperson for the event is Rita Geisler.
The dinner will consist of all homemade dishes including chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, buttered peas, light rolls, cherry cheesecake and cinnamon rolls. Extras will be available for purchase, so bring your container.

The Howard UMW, assisted by other members of the Howard congregation, will be hosting a chicken-noodle dinner on Friday evening, May 16, at 5:30 p.m., at the church.
The public is invited to come and enjoy the evening fellowship. A free-will offering will be taken and the proceeds given to help purchase a video projection media system for the church.
