Oakleaf and Bryce appear on “Can You Duet”

The producers of American Idol are teaming up with the County Music Channel (CMT) to find the next great country music duo in the most original singing competition ever, “Can You Duet,” and a singer from Howard is at the forefront this week on the show.
While David Oakleaf says he can’t be interviewed because of contractual issues, he and his singing partner, Lewice Bryce, definitely made an appearance on the show and they’re still in the running, according to members of the Elk County Forum who kept the internet community line buzzing about the local singing hero this week.
David is the son of Sam and Becky Oakleaf, Howard. He and Bryce have been singing together for the past two years. They sing under the name “LB and Oakleaf.”
The duo sang “Days Go By” during their appearance on “Can You Duet.”
Each contestant will compete as part of a duo, and viewers will witness first hand all the on and off-stage drama in creating a dynamic musical duo. In addition to critiquing each performance and deciding who will advance to the next round, the judges will serve as mentors to guide, groom and develop the duets along the way.
Judges for “Can You Duet” are Naomi Judd, Brett Manning and Aimee Mayo.
