Kaminska files for County Clerk re-election

Donna Kaminska announced that she will seek re-election to the position of Elk County Clerk on the Republican ticket.

“I enjoy my job very much and always like to see people in and around the Courthouse, that otherwise I wouldn’t get to see,” she said.

Kaminska has one full-time and one part-time employee in her office. Vicky Wedman is the Deputy County Clerk and Stephanie Portenier will be working in the office one-day a week beginning April 14.

Kaminska resides in Longton and is the mother of seven grown children, six of whom graduated from Elk Valley High School at Longton. Kate, the youngest graduated from Fredonia High School. Only one of the seven Kaminska children live in Elk County at the present time, daughter Shari is the wife of John Cannon and they recently completed building a new home in the Busby Community.
