Benefit concert will be held for Brody Hurt

David Oakleaf, Elk County native who recently won the acclaim of an international television audience on the program, “Can You Duet,” will perform a benefit concert for Brody Hurt on Saturday night, July 26, at Eureka Downs in Eureka.

The concert will begin at 7 p.m,. and the public is encouraged to attend. Tickets will be $5 for adults, age 9 and under free.

Performing with Oakleaf with be “Red, White and Blue.”

Brody, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2007, remains in a NewYork City hospital for treatment. He is the son of Shawn and Carey Hurt of Severy and the grandson of Jerry and Judy Hurt of Sedan.
