CHERRYVALE — The Cherryvale High School football team will sponsor a lift-a-thon on Saturday, Aug. 2, at 9 a.m., in the Cherryvale High School weight room.

Weightlifters are now seeking donations from the community. Anyone wishing to donate money can come to Saturday’s lift-a-thon  or contact head football coach Harry Hester 336-3076. There will be a watermelon feed following the event for all participants and spectators.
