Cedar Vale High School to graduate fifteen seniors

Fifteen seniors of the Cedar Vale High School Class of 2008 will receive their diplomas at a commencement program on Saturday, May 10. The graduation will start at 10 a.m. in the high school gym.

Valedictorian of the Class of 2008 is Dana Burdette and salutatorian is Morgan Burdette.

The featured commencement speaker will be Patty McFarland, Cedar Vale school counselor.

The class colors are purple and black, class flower is the lotus and the class motto is: “Go not where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and make a trail” - by Ralph Waldo Emerson. Class sponsors are Gloria McCall and Connie Redford.

Receiving their high school diplomas on Saturday will be:
Cooper Brazee, Dana Diane Burdette, Morgan Leann Burdette, Steven Filtingberger, Shane Ray Helphingstine, James M. Jennings, Sudee Jones, Andrew Levi Kelly, Jessica Mackenzie Latham, Tucker Mills, Max Franklin Morris, Amber Michelle Smart, Brandon Joe Stanton, Justin White and Allison Brailee Zimmerman.

The public is invited to attend the graduation program.
